Why do people act so high and mighty that they're not pre-ordering this time around, like they take pride in the fact that they've "beaten the system" and have somehow proven to Ubisoft that they're "better" than them? (btw not just this thread in particular, but just internet response in general seems to be "aha, I pre-ordered last time, but you won't get me this time!")
You coming to the realisation that pre-ordering is flawed system doesn't make you some sort of special ********* - it's not exactly hard to figure that out.
On the topic of the game itself, I'm kinda disappointed they didn't peruse the near-dystopian cyberpunk feel the first game set out to achieve, but instead copped out for the whole "edgy" anarchist who go against the system/fight the power/"I'm a minority". No Assassin's Creed this year either so this'll be their main title, but I think the AC influence is showing strong already with the parkour systems, etc. Also I wonder how they're gonna handle the story if it's supposedly entirely playable co-op. Either way, even though I wasn't a fan of the first game, I'm not gonna shut it down already 'case muh Ubisoft hate bandwagon. Yes they pull a lot of BS, but shouldn't that be obvious by now, across the industry as a whole? I think with any game it has the potential to be good, and from what I've seen this is a step in the right direction.
And btw the first Watch Dogs wasn't a flop by any means.
