I will certainly be buying it as I really enjoyed the first even with the issues it had. Mainly it required ridiculous amounts of VRAM for the time which cause a lot of stuttering as even 3GB VRAM was simply not enough for ultra settings.

Running it now it averages around 4GB VRAM for me and runs silky smooth now.

After watching this video I am really looking forward to it.

 
Ubisoft make some great games but I'm dismayed at the amount of PC gamers who watch these early alpha footage videos and fall for it even when they have been fooled many times before.

It has the potential to be a good game but well just have to wait and see.

Bet you it is to "fix" the game for the PC i.e. remove 30 fps unlock, try to improve graphics and fix any bugs/performance issues. They saw what happened with mafia 3 and don't want to face the wrath of PC gamers :p

If so then good move, don't know if I and others could take another awful release for PC :(
 
I remember when AC Unity was delayed, one of the developers visited the official messageboard and attempted to allay concerns by assuring everyone that it was to "polish" the pc version. And to "ensure the best possible experience." Yeah, that worked out well. I'll not deny the game looks good, but given Ubisofts hilarious track record, I won't be going anywhere near it until I'm assured its not a steaming pile.

Watch Dogs 2

It's out now on console, comes out on PC 29th Nov 2016.

Anyone played or watched console footage, impressions so far?

Is it just a reskinned Watch Dogs or has Ubisoft got it right this time.

 
whoops, thought it was out today on PC also, been waiting for my key :/

Looks decent enough that with a voucher I pre-ordered it at a discount. I still do not expect it to be amazing, but did have fun with the first one once I readjusted my expectations somewhat.

Thus far trailers look decent enough, but will see reviews over next few days which should give a fair idea I expect.
 
Although the first one had massive performance issues at launch it was a decent enough game once they had patched it a few times.

It should never have been released in the state it was though and Ubisoft are now paying the price for it as from what I read the other day pre-order numbers for the sequal are lower than they expected.

It looks like people may finally be learning it's best to wait for launch and not to pre-order :)
 
I've seen console impression and pretty unanimous that it's far superior to the first and a really good game.

Actually gutted I missed it while it was £28 on CDKeys :(
 
I'm sure I read earlier in the year that they have delayed releasing the pc version to make sure it didnt have the same problems as Mafia III
