** Official World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Thread **

Ha million dollar question. The problem is the kid is being potty trained so he crashes at 8.30 and wakes up once anywhere between 10.30 - 12. Rather than suddenly drop out for for an indefinite amount of time causing a wipe I'd rather wait it out a couple of months. You guys rock on :)

lol at the word 'Hardcore' for wow. Please stand next to a gnome or any wow environment/object and say the word 'Hardcore' for me again! Hilarious! :D

Because personally. In my opinion and many others, i find it hilarious :)

So just out of curiosity, do you think the phrase 'hardcore' can't be applied to computer gaming in general or just certain types of computer game, like where you pretend to be SAS or Conan? Because by your evasive answer I'm beginning to agree with Dan and think the point sailed over your head :D

Anyone else tried this in 3D btw? Was really surprised by how good the effect is in certain zones. In deepholm when you are running around on the floor, the floating debris come right out of the monitor at you. Gives a great new sense of immersion!

I don't really care where the word 'hardcore' is used in any gaming. I just find it funny when marrying the wow world/content up with such a word. The appositive phrase 'hardcore' just doesn't feel very fitting whilst looking at a cartoony screen with a dancing, pink gnome female :D

Im tempted but not sure whether just WoW is worth the extra cost and hassle. From what I read some games are immersive, others hit and miss. Think i might leave it another generation.

Lol, ah i see. In computer gaming the word is used to refer to players who spend a substantially above average time chasing the higher end gear, achievements etc. Its a word that to non-gamers might seem strange but trust me on this, hard core overclockers are regarded in the same light. I guess to non-gamers its a different language :)

Doubt we'll rock anywhere tonight with only 6 sign ups. Might clear tbc or something for achieves

With the real id corss realm function now applying to older raids, I'd be up for clearing some of this stuff with you guys. Im on Tarren Mill horde, but if you add me to real id I can zone into the same raid instance, or even raid finder with you guys and it will put me in the same one when in your raid/party!

I have decently geared tank/healer/dps so can bring whatever you want really. (around 389 iLevel) Message in trust if you want!

I think Newts may be a little miffed as nobody turned up for last night raid even with the sign ups. I would say this emphasises why the guild should now be social only with raids and stuff organised on an ad hoc basis. I'd hate to see bad blood building up again.

The cross realm thing sounds pretty good. Maybe weneed a pool of ocuk people to do it casually rather than it being a BH specific thing.

I would also be up for some cross-realm stuff for achievements etc.

Like Archy, have tank/healer/dps across 6 characters on Grim Batol. All decent gear and I'm currently gearing my warrior up (hit 85 last week).

Shame that people didn't show, really :(. I see where you're coming from Sleep, but I don't think tha's the right way of looking at it. People just ned to realise that confirming on an event isn't a "maybe I'll be there, maybe not" option - that's what the 'tentative' selection is for. Whether it's raiding or other guild events, people put some time and effort into organising things to do, so if guild members confirm that they're gonna be there they should be there - dropping out is just rude, to be honest.

Should be around next wednesday for another ICC run - glad to se that I didn't miss out on any achievs :). It'd be worth a couple of people reading up on the Deathwhisper achievement too, there are some fiddly mechanics to get round but if we get a handful of people capable of holding down a CC rotation it should be a piece of cake :).

Yea I'm a little miffed. With me having the kid being able to spend a whole evening on wow is a commitment for me now and I have to sort things with the Missus. So yeah to put aside the time and not have a single person even show up, not one, did annoy me somewhat.

I owe the Missus now and at a wedding the weekend and away a couple days next week so won't be back until wed/thur next week so someone else will have to organise it if they want it to happen and I will try and be back.

Whats the score with cross realming at the moment, we can only do it in dungeons at present not raids.

I must admit i am becoming increasingly bored with the game, having played it for 5 or 6 years now, all DS content killled and nearly 2 on hc mode and we only raid 3 days a week for 3 hours :)

If people want to add me then send me a PM or is it Trust on here and ill send you my battlenet id :)

Main is Ralphiester on Burning legion Realm :)

I am pretty much a casual raiding guild but dont mind playing achievment runs if bored etc if not raiding :)
