I read it as saying that the free faction/real transfer only applies to the character you are boosting to level 80.

Is this not how you read it? Im at work so I can't go and have another read (game related stuff is restricted).

I would love to transfer my mage from my old server to my current one, but would never pay for a character transfer.

Ah sorry, right you are. I managed to mis-read that quite drastically. :D

Either way, it's still nice to get a free boost to 80. I've got 7 85s and loads of other chars above 60, it's that that's stopped me levelling a mage (I can't be bothered to do it again). Getting a free boost to 80 would be welcome.

I know what you mean about character transfers, I've done 3 cross faction and realm transfers and it's only when you work out how much it's cost that you weep. Thinking about it logically though, it's a few hours of RL grinding ( ;) to earn the money) compared of weeks/months to level the same char again if you're set on playing on a different server.

I know, fantastic logic. Stagnant and dying guild most active member trying to keep the Guild going demoted.
 
You can send 1 scroll per 24 hrs, so plenty of people should have one :)

Also, on the whole "you wouldnt give me guild leadership" toys out of the pram issue - if I was the GM I probably wouldn't have given up the guild leadership either. A lvl 25 guild is quite the asset in wow these days. Being an officer you had all the tools you need at your disposal to keep a guild going if you so desired imo. Ah well, good luck with the new guild, I'll probably make an alt over there as I havent levelled an alliance char in quite some time!

Jolteh, Atari, you should have scrolls incoming now.

I've sent out my scrolls for today, but drop me an email at "sirbatmanbu AT hotmail DOT com" and i'll send out further scrolls tommorow in the order that they are received :)
 
G-Man I've got a scroll but I don't have anything to do with the guild and I am a different server to them. Not sure if that's relevant but I do have a scroll if you want it.
 
Don't think it matters what server/guild the scroll giver is in, the server transfer part is optional by the looks of it.

ffs I just spent 4 grand on my 280% flying, this sucks indeed. Seems to be attracting people back though which im sure was the intention. Still cant see me playing past the 20th, might roll an alt on frostmane for ****ngiggles.

Well I got my spectral wind rider in the post earlier, seems a bit too transparent at this stage so might get a model change I think.

Only odd thing is the ressurected account still has an upgrade to Cataclysm option so maybe after 10days its going to change/go wrong?
 
The FAQ mentions the level boost and upgrade to cata is a promotion that's only around for 90 days (i think). After that you just get the 7 days gametime.
 
Oh sod it, I'll bite. Can someone send me a scroll then please? Venificus, Wildhammer server. Are they all the details needed?
 
Sent one to dillinga via accounts, and one via in game to Chadd, they get sent out tonight after acc's have been verified.

Hey Ladies & Gents. Finally got a new build up and running and i quite like the idea of trying out the new content. If someone would be a dear and send me a scroll i would love it. email [email protected]

And a question on the email does it have to be the email you had registered to your account? if so its an older email but i can still access it [email protected]
