They are scheduled to be back up at 11:00 Paris time, but there could be long delays, its hard to say.

One of the benefits of the EU being patched a day later is that we don't tend to get the same problems the US does.

I saw this mentioned on MMO-Champion, and its actually incorrect in my opinion.

In the past if the US have had maintenance problems, we usually get them too.

Yep

We did for 4.0.1 for example, US got extended on Tuesday (their maintenance day), and ours was extended also by the same time period. But here's hoping it won't be the case this time, guess it just depends on what went wrong.
