** Official WoW Catalysm Alpha/Beta Thread **

Is there any chance I could have a pop into the beta Colinuk? Email is in trust :) I've been browsing the thread for a while but I didn't realize a member could actually get others inside with relative ease.

He's stopped taking requests since you posted that this thread had been posted elsewhere, did that actually happen?

Considering Colin is a Blizzard employee it wouldn't be to hard for him to add you onto the waiting list.

I've been wondering about that lately, whoever brought it up/claimed it had gone from OcUK has shown no evidence, nor have anyone else found anything - and lets be honest, OcUK are pretty good at finding this sort of thing.
 
Well I asked Colin to invite 3 of my Guild members from Live and they have all got an invite now. I got a feeling he is checking the post count of the people that are asking to be sure they haven' signed up just to get an ivite from him.
 
I was a complete idiot and e-mailed Colin on his msn addy instead of just clicking the e-mail link on his trust..... The things you do when over tierd. Looks like I've missed the boat now, but thanks to colin for the offer in the first place.
 
More I read about this more I want to play it. Not finding much wow love at the moment as done fairly much everything there is to do several hundred times now. Despite the hush hush surronding itseems people are really liking the changes so future looks promising :)

Same here to be honest, pretty bored with raiding, the guild I am in logs into raid and then pretty much all logs off, the social element has pretty much died.

Roll on Cataclysm!
 
I got an email from Colin as you're right, I think hes controlling who he invites now and limiting it to older forums members, rather than being spammed underground by new accounts (pretty understandable!). :)
Haven't got into the beta yet, but as I said in my response to him, thanks very much for doing this for people, shame it had to get very nearly ruined :(

Im also looking forward to the guild changes, should promote more social activity, which does seem to have died heavily in many guilds between me leaving over a year ago, and coming back about a month and a half ago.

Edit: Tell a lie, I just logged in whilst I'm at work, wasn't there last night but suddenly I've got a Cataclysm PTR entry on my Battle.net login.
You're a gentleman Colin, Im off this weekend so will definately be taking a looky!
<Dependant on having to redownload the entire client and not being able to copy and patch the pre-existing version haha>
