Only problem I can see and I don't know how they will deal with it,

From what I guess, 78+ people will be able to start questing in this new phased azeroth, but what about cities? Right now main cities are full of level 1-80 now if you make all higher level people stuck in a phase version won't that split a lot of the playerbase when it comes to social interaction, trade skilling, etc?

That or I guess they make cities their own, singular phased version for all.

Azeroth is not being fully phased. When they update the game to the Cata version the world will change for all players. Only Outland and Northrend won't change.

I thought there was going to be some tiny changes to northrend?

I could be wrong though, I don't remember it exactly!

I have a wow game on my battle.net account that is labeled "ptr" whereas my normal wow account is labeled "en/ru".

PTR is likely to be the 3.3.5 patch for the ruby sanctum they're testing.

I doubt they'll send them instantly, could be a week or 2.

I don't think it's a 100 percent thing, but from what I know it's like 95 percent likely.

Blizzard don't do public betas, they just have F&F alpha then closed beta.
