Does anyone know what stores are open in midnight for hot release games?

As far as I know, there won't be a pre-download digital download for this game like there was for Starcraft 2.

pretty sure there will be, they say about it in the blue post with the release date

the WOW1 beta account i have is still banned, however there was a WOW2 account appeared shortly after the bans that i can use to access the PTR

In response to the preordering questions, If you really want it on time ill say this i've preordered from two popular game/dvd sites with 4 letter names and one online bookstore with a 6 letter name. All of my preorders didnt come till either the following day or in the case of sc2 it didnt arrive till 5pm by which time id gonna annoyed at waiting and already gone into town to buy a copy and been playing it for 2 hours

When it comes to this game, if i feel like playing it in the evening or i have nothing on ill go queue at the 24hr supermarket otherwise ill just pick it up by hand the next day. I've had enough of preordering titles to not get them on the day. Especially ones that can be preinstalled and unlocked at the right time like SC2, no excuse at all for it not arriving a day early

WoW2 for most of us is our banned beta accounts sadly

Unless by some miracle the next major patch (4.1 or something) unbans our ptr accounts it's really down to colin crawling out of the woodwork and being able to sort this.

Same happened to me, I can get on the PTR using WoW2 and still have the banned WoW1 account.

Anyone else completely avoiding beta and waiting for the final release? I know I'll get burned out if I play it beforehand, would rather the time be spent on my real character.

me, i played through the starting zones of both worgen and goblin during alpha and left it at that.

i think im still banned on beta but i want to see it in its fully polished state next time.............two months today woot

Dudes - got a tip for the PTR: go into your B.net account and create a trial account on the North American servers. This gives you PTR access. Obviously you can't copy your character but you can copy 4 premades, and they copy instantly unlike ours. The lag is the same cause all PTR servers are in the US.

I'm banned with everyone else, but got a beta key last ngiht from another source. Has anyone tried to put it onto there account and succeeded?

Yep, want nothing to do with the Beta. I'm waiting for relase day(7th December), just like the other expansions.

Being banned from the PTR is far more annoying than not benig in the beta. It means that on Wednesday I have about an hour to relearn my class before we raid. Awesome.

Thankfully knowing Blizzard the realms will be down until 10pm anyway and then there will be a 20 minute queue to even get on. Go go Frostmane!

My brother doesn't want a copy of the collectors edition, so I'll be heading out to pick up a copy for him and myself unless Amazon can deliver my collectors edition the day of release

Being banned from the PTR is far more annoying than not benig in the beta. It means that on Wednesday I have about an hour to relearn my class before we raid. Awesome.

Thankfully knowing Blizzard the realms will be down until 10pm anyway and then there will be a 20 minute queue to even get on. Go go Frostmane!

Indeed. The chances of any raiding happening, hell of the servers even being up, the day when 4.0.1 is pushed to live are pretty minimal.

Is it really that important you can't just leave it till next time? It isn't going anywhere!
