some interesting bugs in our 25man heroic tonight.

- no one could see ice blocks on sindragossa
- when we wipe and release at graveyard you spawn with 1 health, and guess what allies had figured this out and camped the graveyard.
- other times you release and you can fly back as a ghost (at walking speed)
- blood princes had 1 kinetic which travelled across the screen
- dreamwalker started on 50% health and stayed at 50% despite us havin 5 healers lol

On the plus side i like the hunter changes and got my heroic DBW tonight finally :)
 
We didn't have any issues with the Ice Blocks, though if you were blocked you could now see the block from outside rather than having the camera inside the block with you.

And yeah the ghost mount is rediculuously slow, we even had people getting ressed inside the instance whilst they were flying back accepting the res and respawning outside in the middle of the air where their ghost had been and promptly falling to their deaths again.

Shadow traps also don't spawn on top of the floor so you can only just see the outline of the sort of fumes that come up out of them.

I've also some how managed to get 13k justice points :confused:
 
Sounds like they've messed all this up, for such a popular/large and well funded game they really did **** it all up. Did any of these things come up in testing that they've been doing ? In fact, any other game would get slated for such sloppy work.

4.0.1 comes out and next day there are already nerfs planned because things are overpowered. Did they even try it out or just do it off guess work?
Wondering if I should bother at all or wait till release.

To be fair its balanced around being level 85. They couldn't really care less about Wrath of the Lich King atm.

In other news tanking is now hilarious due to massive numbers and single target boss threat is utterly laughably easy.

Also please ignore the Syndra tries on that log, every single try we had at least 3 people who couldn't see either the ice blocks or the frost bomb location.

hehe this is turning out to be a fun patch :p

so many bugs and OPness and underpoweredness is crazy. Roll on next weds for some fixes hopefully :)
 
As far as i know, reforge to make sure your expertise and spell hit capped. After that id guess mastery.

Haste is bad now, change all gems to agility. Glyphs i dunno.

Did icc hc 25 today same gear as before and well, dps is shocking. Im aware i need to regem + fix glyphs but still. In full 277 gear, normally id pull 16 - 17k on saurfang pre patch. Today i got 11k :s The other enhancement shaman has almost identical gear and similiar dps levels.

Thank you very much mate, I have figured out glyphs to an extent yet cant remember off hand.


Oh and DOH!!! have to re-gem everything as I was a haste wh**e :eek:
Mastery is still a ..... mystery to me :cool:
 
From what I have read on EJ Mastery is pretty meh for UH DKs tho.

Hit to cap > Strength > Haste > Crit > Mastery > Expertise to cap > Agility

Just a quick question about the reforging (hopefully someone can answer.

If I take off say expertise and convert it to haste. Then realise that I want the expertise back. Can I then convert the haste back to expertise ? Or is it just a one way thing.

Well perhaps they should. Balancing a game for a specific level is just stupid. So I have 5 levels before I can actually play on a level playing field - great - especially when you can't even level yet.

Tanks need a massive threat boost and more skills - it seems like they just got bored with them. Casters are stupidly over powered and pull aggro in seconds. I could understand all of this if I was new to 80 and in rubbish gear but the majority of my gear is 264.

The best one I had was in the old kingdom on the final boss and it moves to the insanity phase straight away after casting avengers shield it says 'loosing threat' how? How can I loose threat to nothing?

Not sure which tanks you are talking about, I play a Prot Paladin and a Blood DK, threat is even less of an issue for me now than it was before the patch, I pull 30K+ TPS on boss fights and AoE is easily manageable.

Interestingly due to having 14K ap on boss fights I actually sit at around 10K DPS a lot of the time. Certainly makes watching numbers allot more entertaining.

It's unplayable for me now. I'm on a Macbook (intel) with a 20MB conenction, and my FPS has dropped through the floor, walking around Dalaran is impossible now, and everywhere else in the world I have huge lag and low FPS.

I was doing Pit of saron last night and the big "you have entered a dungeon and are now saved" banner appeared after the Ick bossfight while we were doing the packs of 5 going up the hill. It blocked my screen and I couldn't get it off, or select the tank, so no heals and an instant wipe. Then as a ghost, my client would just crash within about 2 seconds of logging in, every time.

I tried it at 5am this morning and was able to get my ghost to the portal and res, but it was impossible last night.

I found i could improve matters a little by turning my graphics settings down to low on everything, they were already pretty low, but turning everything nice off seems to work. Except then the client crashes and the changes are not saved, so next time you login the lag and crashes are immediately back.

I'm also not liking the changes to my healer druid so far, though it might just be a case of getting used to the new style of things. Problem is, if the lag and crashing continue it's going to be impossible to get used to anything.

On the official forums, loads of Mac users are complaining about the game now being unplayable (not PowerPC users either - for which support has been removed), but no blue posts yet to even acknowledge the issues.

I've cancelled my sub for now, I hope they can fix things in the next 3 weeks otherwise that'll be it for me. I suppose I could play my DK, but I hate waiting 30 mins in the queue for randoms as a DPS. :(
 
Did some ICC10 Heroics on my Priest (Holy) last night and was pretty disappointed. All the fights felt so much easier than normal, even 1 tanked Marrowgar which I don't know if it was possible before as we never tried but it was last night with Druid tank.

I was initially excited about playing Holy with all the new abilities but having actually done a raid it feels like there is too much to use and even so I oddly enough felt bored. I think I'll be going Shadow.

DK is easy.

Get hit cap. full gem strength, gem strength + haste in yellow for bonus's. All exp + excess hit reforge to get haste.

Don't forget melee hit cap is now only 248 rating.

Love my dk now, love the new rotation, takes some getting used too, but i'm easy keeping up with casters on most bosses. Pulling 20k on festergut, and enjoying it soo much more. Our rets are doing well too now, pulling about the same as prepatch now they are used to the rotation ect.

Boomkins are the biggest op class atm. Insect swarm ticking for 10k. Locks and Mages are still doing well. But a DK can keep up now.

Rest of melee is lol our warriors couldn't pull over 10k. Our tanks beating warriors on some fights.

All in all i'm very very happy with the DK changes.
 
ahhh I thought my hit was well over. Didn't realise they dropped it down. That means I can drop hit from some items. Nice :)

Is expertise still the same or did they lower that also ?
