The servers aren't going to be up until 3 in the afternoon.
It's been taking a good half an hour so far to install the patch on my end and that's up to 54%. Mighty update!

O dear, it's taken an hour and a half to install but now it's downloading another 1.2GB's!

Us realms were the same afaik. They got pushed to 4pm and ended up going live just after 6pm

Just loaded the game up and had a look about the options menu. They've changed it and made it more akin to other PC games.
You can set 4xAF now instead of having to adjust the slider to different qualities.

I dread to think what it'll be like on Frostmane on Cataclysm release day. Don't risk logging out or there will be a 2 hour queue to get in!

So in addition to the 4.5gb patch I have downloaded via the background downloader over the past week, I have another 1.2gb to look forward to downloading when I get home tonight?
Edit - just read above post, interesting, though will still suck on my <1mb connection. Roll on 20th when I get 20mb fibre optic.
