***Official Wrath of the Lich King Thread***(Contains spoilers)***

Hoping for some sterling advice here, our guild has watched all the HC kills and read all the websites , done the fights a dozen times each but are just having no joy with 25HC Putricide and Sindragossa.

Were currently stuck on 9/12 on 25HC and would like to see 11/12 before cata.

Just wondering for the people who have killed these if they developed any tactic or strategies which are not well documented.

In Putri were dealing with plague fine, problem is always the adds, having too many up, people not stacking quick enough when the green targets someone etc.

Sind were fine till P3 then the debuff/block swapping gets us stuck.

Some of the guild myself included think it would be a better use of our time to focus on gettin the 10man HC LK kill done before cata as we quicly got to 11/12 in 10man and then just didnt even look at LK.

We could also be doin RS10man HC imo

Im back on Wow :( lol
Theres sod all to play atm and Im a little bored of TF2 after a months rampage lol.

Come back to brewfest yay :)
Got ma kodo mount this morning.

Im now tempted to go back and farm strath and ZG for the mounts.
Is it right that ZG is being compeltely removed?

Also I've been told that theres a guild achi for a member having a legendary wep is that right?

If so which is the "easiest" legendary to farm/quest?

I have to say tho soloing MC can be quite challanging. The one main boss I have to get someone else in to help is Gehnass (spelling ??) the one that does the healing debuff.

I'm a DK btw, using a blood spec with a tank kit and a bit of dps kit.

I play my dk, and only clear up to the bind bosses. I zerg them, either frost with full 277 + LK 25man 271 weapons, or unholy with SM. I find I don't really need to use deathstrike, just zerg. Have never bothered going further as i see no point.

My guild had pretty much the same problem.

We solved it for Sindragosa by just having more people practice the fight on 10 man HC to get a better feel for the mechanics.

For PP we had one person (me :() calling out *everything*. I mean literally telling people what to do and when. As a Disc priest it was pretty easy as all I do is click my mouse button on grid every second to bubble spam the raid. Pick someone with a similarly dull job and get them to instruct everyone. For the green ooze during transition we have everyone, including healers, stack up to soak the damage. Having a Disc priest really helps though. You pretty much need everyone alive for P3 as if you're carrying a few people (and what guild doesn't this close to an expansion) then the soft enrage can still be pretty harsh. We had a feral kitty using their cooldowns to begin P3 and then rotated between 3 tanks. Helps keep the raid damage down a little.

If you get frustrated though then focus on LK10 HC. If you have 10 non-retarded players then you should get it down after about 3-4 hours depending on how many silly mistakes you make. Infest hurts a lot but the new gimmicks are all pretty fun :)

Proff.

What is your tanking position? I assume your tanking at the green ooze spawn point?

Ranged should be in a half moon around the boss in the middle of the room, as soon as the gas cloud spawns they should start nuking it, green is obvious everyone switched to it asap. If the adds aren't going down fast enough people are either not switching or are in the wrong place for the spawn. Make sure you time the transition right, stop dps and 82% and 37% if needed, you won't hit the enrage, it just isn't possible. In transitions hunter pets should be on the green as well as all tanks regardless of debuff.

For gas bottles your tank should move the boss away from the green ooze spawn point, have prof drop them then move him back, less chance of stupid melle getting their DPS gimped.

No one should be between the boss and the green container side wall, same goes for between the ooze and that wall.

If people aren't stacking quick enough they are doing it wrong, can't fix stupidity.

How many tanks are you using? Due to a complete lack of DPS requirement in any of the fights with the 30% buff, we use 4 tanks giving us extra constant soakers for the green ooze in the transition and a much smoother phase 3 due to much lower raid damage.

In p3, have a shaman with ankh off CD or lock with SS get the plague, wander somewhere vacant and die, it can be a faff getting used to doing this but it saves hassle in the long run.

aye but for raggy solo you deffo need deathstrike or you will not kill him by just pure zerg.

I still need raggy's eye so thats why im doing it.

On PP just thrown the plague in the melee, and let it bounce about, thats all we do, then shammy chain heal, job done. Also do same in p3

tanking on green always

Set pets on green in transitions. Army of dead's + snake traps all help in 2nd transition phase, Otherwise everyone needs to stack.

We use 3 tanks.

Here is one of our first kills if not our first: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BIIaHyhwHWc

Syndragosia - Its all about practise. Practise Practise Practise.

Make sure everyone knows how to move, move the blocks about. Main thing is ranged not blowing up the raid tbh.

P3 Putri is all about how you spread the debuff.

Use 3 tanks, With first tank taking one stack then tank#2 taunting
tank#2 takes 2 debuffs, tank#3 taunts
tank#3 takes 1 debuff tank# 1 taunts
stacks it to 3 debuffs tank #2 taunts reapeat until all 3 tanks have 3 debuffs then start tauningt at one debuff intervals, should be dead either by the ninth debuff (third tank getting 3 stacks) if not before

Weve decided to focus on the 10man HC kill and then do RS10man HC.

As im sure is the case with a lot of guilds were just struggling to fill the 25mans atm, half our members are bored with the same content in ICC and naturally any new recruits aint to chuffed with banging our heads on putri and sind 3 nights a week with no farm nights. (weve been continuing saved id last few weeks).

As a result guild management has decided to halt recruitment and 25man progression until cata and focus on the 10 mans.

Once this was announced we have 2 10 man groups set up who will then switch players etc depending on what each enounter needs and how they fare.

:O bump

We've pretty much moved to the other thread mate:
http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18146639&page=84

So no need to bump this thread as we are on the verge of cataclysm now. :)

Also make sure you do the NEW Dungeons. The gear is a good boost since it's level 251.
