I'm hoping its a novelty 'pre-pre' event leading on to much larger scale things. Much like the pointless attacks on Orgrimmar during the Scourge event and the fun that was the outdoor Scourgewars. People keep telling me how great it is but the Horde one so far felt like a rehashed Battle For Undercity for lvl 1 chars.

Not judging it yet though. :)

If they take my troll costume I will actually storm to blizzard HQ in Paris dressed as a troll and attack their building !!! :p

Deffo the best thing out of it. The lore was quite nice but it was extemely short.
 
Still need to do the quest really couldn't be bothered last night.

But on a good note, full BIS ICC geared - hc DBW now - give it 2 weeks :P

Just need LK HC down for achi, and I'm done wiht ICC. Need Halion HC too tho :( still need 4 parts from there god dam it!

If anyone here plays a Holy pala or priest, and is looking for a guild give me a bell email in trust. As we require them for our LK HC/Halion HC progression.

We have LK HC going well into P2, just lacking healer setup for it. And Halion we have into p3, and just needs some more refinement. If you think you have what we need feel free to contact me :) bewarned we after ICC geared and EXP players :)
 
My guild has finally finished Wrath of the Lich King!

We've killed LK Heroic a couple of times and nailed Halion Heroic last reset.

Sitting about now waiting for Cataclysm...

how did you handle all the adds outside?
 
Glad to hear some of you guys are still doing well :p

My guild (realm 1st) is in the process of merging with realm 2nd, because we're both struggling to get a 25 raid team going.

Hopefully this creates a beast of a team, and we make some wicked progress!

Not sure about the name that was chosen though >__>

I would freeze my account if I could but I payed up for 3 months worth just last month :p

Getting quite bored at the moment I tend to pop online now to chat and see if anyone wants to play some SC2 with me lol.
Still I'm happy I got to see the LK and kill him, I also got my frost wyrm which I was really happy with getting. I left the raiding guild I was in because they want to transfer server because trying to recruit on Khadgar is pretty slim pickings. But I really cba to pay real money to move a char just for raiding.

So I am back in my old social guild which is quite nice. I keep doing ZG with one of my buddys in there for the Tiger mount, I dont need it but he really wants it and cant quite solo it. But in return I get to use his dr00d summon for a chance at Raven Lord mount as he already has the mount on his dr00d. So its all good.

I doubt I will bother going into serious raiding for cata again though tbh, I'm quite happy messing about in the social guild raiding what we can as and when it suits. Rather than being tied down to a schedule for raid nights.

Still roll on cata I needs more stuff to do and more pets to collect. I now have 127 vanity pets :) I need MOAR though !
 
Waso, haven't got a scooby doo! I'm a retired Veteran of the guild. I only log on for casual raids and other stuff.

Not even sure why I'm there anymore. Out of the player base I played with in my pomp (during vanilla and BC) I'd say less than 5% remains..

For me, it's the best and worst part of this game. The people I've met over the years have been exceptional. On the flipside, none of them are playing anymore, which I hate :(
 
So did you get your alpha access re-instated or were you one of the ones that never got it taken away?

I haven't played wow since I was banned from the alpha, but recently I have seen on facebook a lot of my wow "friends" are back playing again and it really makes me want to play again.. :S
 
i did get reinstated but didnt play it again, however i have been glued to the fan sites and they are pretty detailed in what is in the beta at this stage and what is not.........still waiting on worgen mount :D
 
So when do you see Cata being released? November'ish or earlier? Currently trying to get my 66 Mage to 80 ready for Cata although there won't be much point in trying to gear it up now.
 
i still think November, i had concerns about it going in to 2011 but with the mechanics patch going to ptr, it will definately be this side of christmas.

remembering back patch 3.0.1 was released around this time and then wotlk was released around 8 weeks later
