yeah I can be a little quiet at times. Striking a balance between vocals and game sounds is tough at the best of times, but recording as you play, you just can't listen to your levels until after the fact. Add to that I have a £4.99 mic and a noisy PC so it's not ideal by any standards.
Have my eye on a new set of kit as I mentioned so I think a nice Blue Yeti mic and a newer, quieter PC will mean less editing needed on the vocals and give me more options.
It's still a learning process though, two months ago I hadn't got a clue about video editing, sound compression and normalisation or any of this stuff.
