Juve Relegated To Serie B
According to reports emerging from Italy, Juventus have been relegated to Serie B with a 15-points deduction for their part in the match-fixing scandal. Lazio & Fiorentina will also be demoted, while AC Milan will stay in Serie A but thrown out of the Champs League.

German media are quoting "Gazzeta dello Sport" that the following punishment will be handed out:

Juventus

Relegated to Serie B, docked 20 points. Nothing said about whether Juve can keep their league titles.

Milan

Stays in Serie A. Docked 10 points. Withdrawn from Champions League.

Fiorentina

Relegated to Serie B, docked up to 10 points.

Lazio

Relegated to Serie B, docked up to 10 points.

Italy's entry for the Champions League would therefore be Inter Milan, AS Roma, Chievo and Palermo.

Apparently, appeals will only run until the 25th, as afterwards the IFA can not perform any changes to the teams that enter international competitions. I wonder how accurate this information is. Bring on 6pm! :)

Cant see uefa being too chuffed about letting Chievo and Palermo into the CL,more likely let Roma and Lazio in,with Chievo and Palermo in the uefa.Or hopefully not let any replacements in,putting Liverpool straight into the league :)

Are the (alledged) docked points taken away from last or next season's tally? As in, are they used to get Juve off the top spot from last season's standings, or will they be a hurdle for them trying to get promotion next season?
