My wife had this happen to her when she ordered from NEXT. It isn't clear at all that you are opening a credit account, she thought that it was just a case of ordering the item and paying for it there and then.

Give them a call Im sure they will sort it out with you.

Yes that is exactly what has happened to me.

I think I'll wait a few days. Because I thought they hadn't been ordered, I then went on eBay and bought a similar pair so I don't actually have enough money to pay them back now - not until HSBC put the money I paid in into my account.

I shouldn't get in trouble because I phoned them up literally about 2 minutes after placing the order.

To be honest why don't the morons just let you pay normally like most other sites. I bet this has happened LOADS of times.
