it may not be that bad
march is border line of q1/2
so it may be april which im hoping as thats when im buying a new graphics card
 
It's got to be BS, i mean FFS by the time this card is out theres no way in hell they can compete with nvidia, bloody ridiculous.
 
They want the extra time to bring a better more competitive product to the market i mean ffs you would have thought with the extra 6 month's dev time they have over the G80 it would be able to compete more than enough, someone needs to pull there finger out over at AMD/ATI.

This is true. R600 were supposed to have the WHQL drivers out before there card even before it came out so it looks like ATI could loose quite a bit here. Bad move.
 
What it looks like to me is that the R600 is infact complete, but there wanting to deploy other products at the release, most likely a new MB Chipset and physics card's and offer them as one package, or somthing along these lines.
