Not to sound to negative or anything, But I'm starting to read some pretty bad comments about OCUK's customer service on the internet. Nearly every comment I come across is bad...say it isn't so :( .
That would be because people only usually post about service when its not good :p

Theres a lot more satisfied customers than un-satisfied ;)

Generally I've found them to be pretty good with RMA's etc :)

And the phones work, I phoned the other day and got through to the straight through to the store on my first go, they told me to call tech support and I got straight through to them too  Thats a lot better :)

I would be happy too :) !!

But alas no.

I have been delivered an X800GTO, not a X1800GTO.

I already have a X800GTO, so this really isn't an upgrade at all.

Hence the problem.
Ah, I knew I was missing something! And it was the 1. :) Gotcha' now.

Yeah... That sucks.

I've had OCUK do that to me before :( They are quite good at sorting out though. Unfortunately when I asked for my original "choice" they didn't have it.

yeah i had a OCUK 7800GTX blow up on me after 3 days..... I spoke to them and the guy said he would replace it with a BFG one for free cos they were temp Out of stock.

2 weeks later i got a refund. 2 weeeeeks... i phoned them everyday in the 2nd week and everyday they said "oh yeah still on the testing shelf, ill do it myself now."

Everyone of them lied lol.

i only use ocuk now if its the cheapest on offer.

Ive never read any bad service reports about them on here, for the simple fact thats its not allowed :p , you can praise them, kiss their asse's as much as you want, but soon as you say one negative thing it gets removed quick smart, so either your very much mistaken about ppl moaning about OcUK on here, or the Dons are all asleep and aint seen the threads yet. :p

Speaking of kissing their arse... I just ordered an Arctic Freezer 64 and Zalman VF900-Cu. Within 19 minutes I recieved an email saying it's packed and ready for shipping! :D Winner.

Thanks mate. ;) I'm still using 100% stock cooling, and I'm mainly buying these to bump clocks as much as possible (CPU specifically, graphics is fine as-is but is simply way too hot and I am trying to silence the whole PC.)

Arctic Cooler Freezer 64 pro is a cracking cooler, for some reason though on my new board my CPU is about 17 degrees hotter than it was on my old board, unless its just miss-reporting, its about the same in the BIOS to.

Old board DFi LanParty RDX200 Xfire, used to idle around 31-32, on my new board Asus A8R MVP Xfire im idling around 46-48, but i think that maybe because the CPU socket on the Asus is right underneath the PSU, where as on the DFi it was further down, like in the middle of the board, so im thinking that the heat from the PSU is affecting it, or its miss-reporting as said above, still its no worry as underload it doesnt even hit 50, the Freezer isnt even running full speed, its only doing about 1600rpms, and ive got the Asus Q-Fan set for it to run full speed when it gets to 50 degrees, but even under heavy load its never ran full. :D

It's not on here Loadsamoney. It's on a website that you can check out retailers on. I found this site the other day and it has most of the main online retailers plus some others i have never heard of. I looked up OCUK and saw it was well and truly slated. This year too and up to date. No way i am posting the site as i don't want a holiday.

Well, as I said, so far there customer service to me has been good(ish), and as I've posted the X800GTO back to them now for a refund, as long as the refund happens, that is good enough for me (even money says if I'll get ALL my money back, the guy on the phone said he'd refund my original bill with VAT and shipping, and the cost of me shipping the X800GTO back).

OcUK's never failed me. Deliveries arrive on time and fantastic prices. A Leadtek 6800GT purchased for a friend was DOA, but had it sent back early in the week and had a brand me card sent back within 4 days. I'd say that was excellent service. :)

Sorry to hear about your problem. Theres been quite a lot of glitches going on with sales in the B Grade section so you're not the only one.

Ouch, and I think I just found the same site too. Lots of bad reviews and a 2.5/5 overall rating.

I don't understand how people have had such bad experiences with OCuk. I consider myself a loyal customer of over two years now and have never had even one single problem. I had to call their tech support line one time, but turned out it was my fault anyway.

Addition: Whoa holy Hannah... I just stumbled across a certain website about OCuk draped in Nazi symbols etc. with a forum specifically for bashing OCuk. :( They're using an OCuk logo (-the- OCuk logo, I think) with a Nazi flag in it instead of the red/white/blue. Sad the lengths some people will go to be pests. :(

hmmm, although I am on good terms with OCUK so far, it must be said that some people feel a different way. Why they feel that way I cannot say (I'm sure they'd tell me though).

But, my point is, if they feel the need to do such a thing, they must have a good reason, atleast to them, to do so. Perhaps OCUK's customer service was bad at one time or another, this I cannot say, because I've had little dealings with them in fairness.

All I can comment on is my deals with them, and as I've said, so far it's been good.

P.S: plz don't make me eat my words by FUBAR'ing my refund, pretty, pretty plz

P.P.S: Oh, and Andy, thx for replying to my e-mail, was worried about any confusion it might have caused.

Never had problems with ocuk. Everything always arrived in tip-top condition.

Magnum, if your in need of a gfx card, I got a sapphire x1800xl im selling for cheap. Near the x1800gto u were buying, near that price. Add me to msn if your interested :)
