Oh my the dust!!

I heard a vibration coming from my case and decided to open up my case to investigate only to come accross to this :eek:

It's probably been a month and a half since I last opened my case and I'm thinking this is overly large amount of dust don't ya think for a month and a half? Thank goodness for dust filters anyway

I haven't opened my PC in about 3 months :eek:

Maybe the dust is cos I have my window open most of the day cos my room gets warm a lot of the time plus I don't vaccum as much as I should

I haven't checked my dust filter in about.. 5 months now

This thread has made me scared to look. I'm building a new system (possibly) in Feb so hopefully I'll hold out until then

lol i have 5 air inntakes on my thermaltake armour and not a single filter. never gets dusty ether not even a spec of dust

i took the dust filter out of my ATCS case becasue it clogged with dust so fast, the airflow was terrible

i find some dust filters pretty good like the one that cames with my antec and others like the jeantech which are just horrible and just got thrown out as soon as i got it

Exactly the same here. Does its job though as I get hardly any dust inside the actual case!

My case has 2 80mm intakes but no dust filters. Can I get hold of a couple of dust filters from somewhere?

Dust depends hugely on the house. I get more dust on my front filter in the space of 3 weeks at my parents house than I do in 10 weeks at my Uni house

And we don't hoover here.

Maybe there's a moral, don't hoover and you don't stir up dust
