But this is a problem for me, there's no sign of halo 3 for the pc anytime soon
By the time it makes it onto pc, there will be nobody playing it - thus it will fail like halo 2 pc's multiplayer
I am so not happy with that ending.

Normally I am all for an unhappy ending, but to suggest master chief and kortana are dead?
I wanted them riding off into the sunset together, after she gets implanted into some kind of cyborg body of course.
Why would they have died? They were on the same ship Arbie was on... even if the door was open.

Umm, no, didn't watch after credits. But just went onto youtube to watch the legendary ending
A bit happier, but not much...
Had a great tine playing the games (even though found the first a bit of a chore). I know a lot of people rag on the series, but by the end, I was in love with the series

Worst of the lot for me. I cant remember a lot of the reasons since my memory sucks, but one of them I do remember is that the author couldn't create chapters to save his life. They would just cut off at random points and were way too long. It just got to the point where I was forced to read to the end of a chapter before I could finish for the night and that would usually be 10 or 20 pages away (its a problem I have, dont ask
)Loved the other books by Eric Nylund though, but still havent really got into Contact Harvest yet. I always start and get a few chapters into it then I get sidetracked.
I'm also thinking of Importing the 4 part comic aswell when it actually gets finished (the 4th one should have been done in December and they are still working on number 3 even now...)

You shouldn't need to import it to be honest, there's plenty of places that have already done that for you - check to see if you have a Forbidden Planet or Travelling Man store near you. Given that most (half decent) comics are US based and released on a Wednesday, they import and have them available for release on the Thursday. Chances are if they haven't got 1 & 2 on the shelf, they'll be able to get them for you - once the series is complete they'll probably command quite high prices particularly number 1.

Firstly - dont buy the comic, its the worst thing Ive read in a very very long time. Or atleast dont pay for it, if you know someone that has it then by all means read it
And about The Flood, I got it read within a few days so I didn't really notice the thing about the chapters. I liked that book the best because its the Halo story, but with masses and masses of more detail - and we get to see other things going on whilst the chief was on Halo (like the bits with captain keyes). Awesome book I thought - still reading contact harvest at the moment... Its taking me months
