Oh noes Haswell 4770K only gets 7.8 on Windows Inex Score! What gives?

I see. It's not something I dwell on either. As I usually only run it once and usually only look again when it sometimes pops up on a forum discussion.

It's only my 5870's that's in the 7's. 7.8.

you'll score 7.9 in win7 with a 7850,cant remember what it scored in win8 though think it was 8 or 8.1

My 3930K @4.4 is only a 7.8. Not that I care what the windows benchmark says.

Oh come on guys, the only reason anyone buys all this hardware is to have a bigger Windows Index Score! I only had 7.1 on my old CPU if I remember correct, 7.2 on GPU, just had to upgrade, couldn't even converse in public about PC's with scores like that! I would have been shunned and a social outcast!

WEI as everyone says is an utterly pointless and arbitrary number. Don't worry about it. If you want to bench then use some proper applications.
