My ten cents.

This is a real shame if you ask me. The 360 is all about a level playing field in my opinion. Pulling people from all walks of life together to game online with each a fair even chance of success.
I feel MS should step in here and deny any mods to controllers or controller usage online.
My younger Bro has one and i have been very tempted to get one myself.
The Main thing that would attract me is the same hardware same connection same controllers part of it. All being in One big happy pot of gaming appeals to me rather than the constant upgrade file tweaks and system messing that goes along with PC gaming.

I have recently got PES6 and a PS2 controller for my PC and love kicking back relaxing with a controller resting on my lap, rather than being hunched over my keyboard constantly wiping sweat off my matt. But being a hardcore BF2 player i know the Odvious advantages of K/B in FPS situations.
After playing COD2 on the 360 i can confidently say that i was comfortable within around ten minutes (PS1+PS2owner) and was happily wasting folk using the controller. I found it very instinctive and would be happy to use it all the time but a K/B user would Pwn a controller user in a 1 on 1 that is a Fact.
So in my opinion a K/B user on the 360 would be mugged off as a weak player who needed an Aid to play alongside Normal 360 users.
A bit like fighting in the street, if you cannot beat the dude with your hands then you shouldn't beat him with anything as you are not worthy.

To be honest i thought there was a problem with the refresh rate if you was using a mouse on a 360. It would stutter on a quick movement?.

Yeah and he sad he has the original product not the 360 version? and seeming this thread is all about kb&m on xbox360 im sure you havent seen people using it on XBL because the 360 version isnt out and no wonder joe public cant get his hands on it...sigh :rolleyes:

You do know that Live is available to both the Xbox and the 360, right? Halo2 being the most played XboxLive game up until very recently. (it may even still be the most played xbox live game)

I have been arguing that whist this sort of product has been available for quite some time it has not had a direct adverse effect on online gameing because it is relitively unknown. If it becomes popular then there will be issues. However it is my hope that MS will take action against any one distributing such a product.

Lol but again and this is the last im saying on it read the thread... this is to do with a xbox360 kb&m adaptor that you claim no-one uses and you cant buy anywhere in shops?

if the pad is that good an option then- how would keyboard and mice suddenly own it? what im getting at is you are removing the skill of the player and turning it into skill with a particular control device, which is different.

i ahve spent some time playing Halo/2 on the original xbox, some golden eye on N64, and also Resi4 on the PS2.

i can say without a shadow, the pad/analogue sticks for aiming etc is a poor method control system compared to a keyboard mouse for FPS's - no matter how much "fun" or novelty it may seem to provide.

Is it really me that isnt listening? im talking in regard's of an adaptor that will be released for Xbox360 soon, in relation to the original thread topic ie Oh Noes - Mouse and Keyboard action for 360!

I have repeatedly posted evidence that suggest the XFPS 360 will never make it to any major retailer and will most likely only be sold on mod sites. But you don't care about that because its not out yet and it is only for the 360. :rolleyes:

I think you're right Krono, the old one was only available online from selected retailers (which also sell "other" similar items).
Like I said I used to really like mine as it allowed me to play better when I first got my original Xbox single player on Halo/Halo2. Now that I am a big convert to Live I think it would ruin the whole idea behind it. I bought a 360 to replace my PC simply because I couldn't keep up with the "Jones" with special Keyboard/Mice/Super Duper Graphics cards etc all of which give you an edge over the competition IMO.
The level playing field of Live is what makes it so much fun, that and the fact that it all just works, you dont have to start up another application on top of the game to have voice chat and the like.

You completely are right you can draw attention to previous verious of a said similar product and remember here im not overly keen on the idea of a product BUT what you cant do is quote someone that say's it isn't released yet with

Not Everyone will use KB/M if it is not readily available.The original xbox kb&m adaptor for example I never once saw this emulator product in a store. it was available online only. So we both agree that this is a bad thing and that we both hope it can be prevented.

Obviously if it goes on sale people will buy them. If you ever play with someone that admits to using one, then leave negitive feedback. Hopefully you will never meet them again.

You can also notify MS using some email address they have, if enough people report them then they may get a LIVE holiday.

One thing I have noticed about cheaters, they love to brag.
