There is the danger of doing a ctrl + backspace but accidently doing ctrl + enter when you're writing an email. I've been saved by the little pop up box asking if I meant to do ctrl + enter so many times!

The usual solution is to switch it off and on again, but in your case stop after the first step.

You're missing out, it's by far the most satisfying way to dispatch a well-crafted email. Especially important that you do so with a flourish, slamming down the enter key so everyone can hear and practically bouncing your fingers off in a vague sort of salute, simultaneously leaning back in your chair to admire your handiwork.

Literally *BOOM*, but without the mouth movement.

This guys gets it. Especially when it's a frothy-mouthy email, that additional sass when hitting ctrl+enter makes it all worthwhile.

See i've always used ALT + S to send an email, it feels more natural.

The issue is when you catch the X key on the way and inadvertently send someone a kiss
