Thanks for the invite to pimp my happiness in your thread sic 
A rather dispondant Pickers felt a little bad after a potentially life changing interview went... in his own eyes... rather badly yesterday.
Come early evening, I had chance to access my university email account and get news of my most recent exam results - which had been released early that morning, but unreachable to me.
They were good, and should have made me very happy, but my achievement seemed hollow given how I felt the afternoon had gone

Resigned to waiting until next week (at least) to formally hear the expected negative outcome of the day's venture, I sunk a can of bud and got an early one in.
This morning, a vain check of e-mail turned up surprise positive news from yesterday. Like a tidal wave I was suddenly hit by the good news and I suddenly felt my results were not simply a hollow victory.
Needless to say tonight I plan to celebrate a double whammy of good news for me
