Oil change hard to do?

its a 50 p washer you might realise the spare one you got is the wrong size or damaged etc after you've already taken the plug out :p
Then fool you for ordering the wrong one and not checking everything before taking stuff apart, really...

Cant say in 40 years of bikes n cars I have ever replaced one, and never had one leak
must have saved a lot of 50p's lol
I've seen a few go - More on BMWs than anything else, I think.
Seen some that were compressed almost paper-thin, despite being correctly torqued from new. Those did need replacing.
Obviously YMMV, but I'd personally rather spend the 50p and have peace of mind.

Yeah I did not get a chance to pick up any oil yet :(

The GF car is now dead so money going into another car at this time lol :(
When that's sorted I can do some bike stuff.
