Ok so I have designed something - now for the big time

very interested in this, just to see how cool it is......

kind of in an "idiot abroad" kind of way "ill decide if its work of wonder" quote reworked to fit situation.

Guessing time then - if ive got my facts right from reading this thread:

Need a Computer/Console
Not a robot
Not a laser cutter, but found whilst using one
Toy Convention
£20

Im punting for something like a 'wii controller' type laser cutter, that 'cuts' out objects on the TV/Monitor, which you can the upload and request the making of :D

Surely if its for a Computer/Console then software needs to be written... so its either bodging onto the back of exisiting technology OR you have written something new for the market.

Remember this years Dragons Den... the lads with the Spray Can input, Peter Jones said that was their IP not the software. So id say its something like that, with my guess as above :D

Well done, having been an avid follower of your laser cutter thread I can't wait to see what it is you've made but understand that you can't say yet. Must be an exciting time for you, so fingers crossed for you that all goes well!!!

Well done. (I hope it all goes down the happy path).

Claim #15.1 <---- TBH I've no idea why people are doing this lol. I don't need any part of your company/product, I just wish you the very best of luck with your design and sales :-)

I have to lol, because I used to invent incredibly complex 'alarm systems' and device's t catch animals as a kid lol. Think my mum came in one day with this string all round my room, all interconnected to set off various burgular alarms. Invention rules. Selling it is the hardest part and where luck comes in.

Ok, I am a pro designer, with 2 Royal Society of Arts awards for Design. Also when I was younger I got 2 Young Inventor Awards (Coming true now).

Spent 10 years in the mobile industry making stuff on phones you have probably used. Then got made redundant and made more stuff.

I also design and make Robots, cos i love 'em, just got published in a major US Mag with some of the stuff I have made.

I have some older stuff up mostly here:

http://attn2detail.net/ My old portfolio site

http://www.botbuilder.co.uk/store/ The robots & electronics I design and manufacture

http://www.pinter75.com/robots/ The older hobby robots I made

And a pile of videos about stuff here http://www.youtube.com/pinter75 Contains a whole heap of stuff.

And noe of the above is anywhere near what I have done in terms of the thing i have made.

We have our very own Mr Stark on this board! :D
