I might as well join in the first PC-fest, my first PC was a 286 with 2MB of ram on an Intel Above Board (pic below), it had a couple of 20MB MFM drives too.
I got it quite late, 486dx 33mhz chips were available and I owned an A1200, after playing Wolfenstein 3D at school and finding no similar Amiga games I bought the 286 from a friend.
