I moved house a few weeks ago and had the BT line in my new property reactivated. The BT people said there was currently no broadband services on the line.
So, last Friday, I went ahead and ordered Be Unlimited and they confirmed there was nothing on my line and I have an activation date of 3rd Nov.
However, for no particular reason, I plugged my old Netgear router in today and it synced at 8k! No IP address, presumably as I had no username or password configured.
This gives me the impression that there may be a problem with my activation on Friday. Has anyone had something like this happen to them?
