My 15" LG was £300 when I bought it (around £250 now) and that supposedly had a response time higher that what is recommended for games, however I get no ghosting or blurring at all, and its so much better than any CRT screen I've used.

I think going on response time is a little misleading TBH, it just depends on the actual quality of the TFT.
