I know people who have had stuff done by them, and wasn't really impressed with any of it. None of it was badly done, just didn't stick out as anything special either.

And the fact that they haven't mastered the art of curved worktops yet despite the fact that Ikea can sell a curved desk for around £100 is a bit strange as well. Probably done to save the amount of material that they use, as a curved workstation has to be made out of 1 piece of wood, and about half is thrown away after being cut out.

---------------------------------------

How do u rate the Syncmaster over the Hitachi in overal quality?
(Colours Contrast Black level etc?)
----------------------------------------

P.S Think my rig still going to be hard to follow, oh and those toys for speakers you got lol.

Latte PoWeR: (just my audio for now)

Yamaha Dsp A1: Yamaha Sw 800 watt sub :
Kef Q35 (2x Centre) : Kef Q35 Fronts : Mission M7Ds Surround
Yamaha FRONT Surrounds:

All via 5.1 from Nforce Mobo and enchanced on Yamaha DSP

Cheers Mr Latte,

I believe you are looking for my post on page 8 http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?s=&threadid=43325&perpage=30&pagenumber=8 though the rig has changed a bit since then too, with the prommie and gpu watercooling, and thankfully i have an Aeron to sit on now.
You are right though, can't compare to your audio setup.. got a Nad c350 and some Kef Q1's running off my M-Audio.

As for the Samsung vs the Hitachi, i'm not sure what it is about it, but it just seems slighlty better for overall image quality.. quite possibly down to the contrast level.. although supposedly this 23" Apple has the worst of the three, though i think it looks the best of the three!

Good greif man, that apple is sweet.

Almost purchased one when the prices dropped but as an avid gamer too I though the resolution problems / ratios with games would **** me off. How do you like it and oh more pics with games etc maybe some closeups please.

I believe that Gurdas' desk was easily £2k, it just oozes quality. Looks extremely well-built and fitted.

Beats my IKEA desk hands down :p Oh well, I'm happy enough with it because my iMac distracts attention from it. :D

By the way, he's an update of my desk/set-up with my new speakers, you can just about get a glimpse of the sub-woofer underneath the desk.

Not at all. :)

The iMac was, technically, free. :D

My brother dropped his laptop under warranty, and as he is a teacher, he had already been given a laptop from the school where he works, therefore, with the £1000 voucher he had for a replacement laptop, he very kindly gave it to me- as he knew I was in need of a new computer. I opted for the iMac. The price was £999.99 and the speakers were £139.99.

Hope this helps.

£300 and worth every penny. It is a massive chair, the best i've had by far. Fully reclinable and even has padded leather armrests. :D

It is just the right shape for me, my back fits into it perfectly. Best chair for my needs. :D
