Full Entertainment Intergration all in one cosy room , oh and dont forget the drinks cooler and leather hide sofa.

This what your gonna need to impress me folks.
(Mines over a year in the making and surprisingly Im still not divorced)

Its comming soon, although she says shes going if a plasma arrives at the door.

Come on guys whose on something like what Im in progess of completing for a very impressive BIG BOYS room?

Id like to see others with maybe a simular ongoing or finished project or if anyone can submit cool links to something like I have in mind.

I await the challengers...............

I'm doing what i can sir, and i think i'm doing okay for a 21 year old living with my girlfriend.. My next purchase I think will have to be a nice plasma to replace my telly, but it's gonna have to wait till i've finished the pc rig till i'm completely happy with it. As for surround sound on the pc, never really felt the need for it, so i'm quite happy with my NAD's and Kef's though if i were i do like the look of that sony stuff you just bought..
I will be very interested to see your end product.

Are you planning on getting a Matrox Parhelia as a graphics card so all 3 of the tft's actually match completely? it's a shame they don't do a top end gaming card with 2 or 3 dvi outputs.

Hee He loved that line, come on we both know a PC NEVER seems to get quite finished, always that new board, CPU or Harddisc itching to be upgraded.

We are hobbyists with an addiction. :D

Looked at a Plasma but recently bought a Panasonic 36PD30 CRT which is one incredible Telly on USA Progressive Scan Dvds.

I found Plasma under 3G are still in my eyes not fully convincing in greyscale digital artifacts and the prices are due to fall a lot within next 12 months with LCD technology advancing alongside Plasma.

As for the 3 tfts Im waiting on release of the 172x to sit either side of my 191T on a "Space Appeal" designer glass metal 8ft wide "Flying Wings" desk. Running ATI hardware on LAN but could add a PCI GFX card also to incoroporate all 3 at once though it a bit overkill.

Ideally 1x workhorse box (burning DVDs general apps) with maybe Sky TV or DVD via AIW displayed on 2nd monitor and 1x Play Box on single display. A quick switch over to the 2x 172x 16ms for Lan when needed
