Bombay_roll I remember him absolutely awesome player, I used to think best player UK server that time, I remember 4d I was briefly in them maybe after they broke up and reformed
Wireplay servers were where it started for me

Haha no way not just me getting the itch to play a bit of CS again! I stopped playing in 2007 used to use the name WicKeD in the early days then changed it to w1cked.
I started in Beta 4 I think that was in 1999 that makes me feel really old…
Started in the old wireplay days with B!TCH, CSA, M2S, =TE=, ECSF, dOh, UKLA, LR, Numbers..
Then there was the scene a bit later with dNC, nocturne, I-eS, ONE, monkey magic, mag8, last chance, erm, virtuoso, ImG, high five, TAG when you had the UK LAN’s!
Kr@Ze/ColdAsIce/Kemistry/Simmz/Righteous/jenuwin/berners - Remember all those names as well hope you’re all good!
Thank f*ck they didn’t register hours spent in CS back then wouldn’t even want to know how many I would have had playing for 8 years!!!
I see KhAoS is still playing whenever I check Steam I swear he must have played longer and for more hours than anyone in CS ever hahaha!
Is CS2 any good? Might give it a go! I’ve seen a few people like KhAoS playing it loads recently

I'm gonna see if I can get some of the old GSV guys together over the holiday, see how many of us blame lag/ping or people changing their settings to get an advantage now we're all 20+ years older and cant even grip the mouse properly lol

I still play cs at nearly 40 haha, about 2400 elo on faceit. It's alright, there aren't any other games that scratch the itch. I do prefer csgo though, it felt more responsive

UKT pal. I remember childishly winding people up constantly on there. I also remember taking CS far too seriously!
We had a few spells together didn’t we? I remember some CoD at one stage when it first launched, and I’m sure we were part of a short-lived relaunched erm^ or something similar with Gilgamesh, Stu^ and a few others?
Lost a good few years to that game but it was enjoyable nonetheless!

We won the UK WCG qualifier vs a 4K mix, then went to the WCG Finals in Italy didn’t do very well though.
That's a good claim to fame though bud, was effectively the moment 4kings stopped being the best and dignitas caught up? Was that what first put rattlesnk on the map?
And my boy Dannypunt. He ended up playing with us for a bit in the later years, albeit on a very un-serious level.
Yeah was fun at the time, beat the no5 team in the world at SEC LAN after that which no one expected.
RattlesnK was unreal for us so good no one knew how good until that LAN they all thought he was better online.
Then when he went to CSS he won everything I think! Haha
I think we (RATM) also played at that LAN, I think we came 3rd in the end.
Was it the one in Nottingham?
I think that was the year before, our one was at the iseries in Newbury.
