Personally I can't see why Sir Fergie wouldn't keep Ole on
the right wing. His performances have been great so far, he's
like having Giggs on the right and left. Beckham is very overrated
I think.

Can't see how Beckham could get back in the side, neither
Butt too. Though Keane and Ferdinand will walk straight back
into the side.

New striker come January ? Need to find some money to
buy him ? Possibly bye bye Beckham ? Just a thought.

i dont ever see beckham leaving he will be back in the team soon trust, and ole will be on the bench, beckham is overrated but he also works very hard for the team

I had an argument with a load of Man Yoo fans about this last night.

I personally think that the team should be left as it is if there winning, after all its only really happened since the big names havnt been playing, and the lesser players, especially the Nevilles have shown a lot more desire. But there argument is that "ooohh no, Beckham is amazing, he should be playing all the time"

I wont even tell you what their reaction was when I said that he actually cant do that much technically (run, shoot, tackle...)

I will tell u why united are playing well atm, 1 reason only, fergie hasnt got the problem trying to accomodate keano, veron and scholesy in the same team he has gone back to playing a 4--4--2 system again.

That's a very good point - not lost on Fergie I hope. Then again it was a forseeable problem but he still bought Veron..

Maybe you should take charge when fergie retires:)

naah i think someone like graham taylor will get man utd to their absoulte peak so he should take over fergie
hehehmn.gif

I thought it was quite funny in last nights game when Becks and Forlan came on together, there was a loud cheer and chorus of 'Diego Forlan' from the fans, followed by an almost apologetic chant for Beckham.tbh i thought they looked much better without Beckham too,as he seemd to go for long, pretty aimless balls into the box, whereas they had been passing their way through Deportiva up til then.

well i have been approached:eek: :D

Nah but seriously, fergie much like houllier this season, just kept changing things, like the formation, play keys player here there and every where.

Beckham can play well up the middle as well don't forget, and as well as Phil is playing at the mo, Beckham is better full stop.

The reason Man Yoo are winning at the mo is that there players seem to be strong out of position and it's very difficult to prepare for a team that plays a striker on right, a midfielder up front and a defender in centre midfield, not to mention a left back playing in the centre of defence.

i wouldnt tinker with the side if we are getting good results.

Beckham and the other should be left on the bench so they can see that if they dont do the business there are people ready to take their places in the team.

Fergie wont change it.

Personally i believe that Fergie should leave Keane out of the team. Veron has started to prove his worth playing alongside Scholes in midfield and all i can see when Keane comes back is Man Utd's balance being upset once again, and they will go back to midtable performances, more commonly seen by Spurs fans :D

On the subject of playing Ole Solskjaer on the wing, i personally would keep him there and drop Phil Neville for Beckham like Kitchster_uk mentioned. Beckham only goes for long balls when hes on the wing because its the only option he usually has. And whilst Phil Neville has been "majestic" in his midfield role :D there is no way that he has the overall ability of David Backham in my opinion.

Personally, I think Man Utd should just get rid of Keane while he still might be worth something. :p

thats what i was thinking today.

Its more that a co-incidence that Veron is now playing well now that Keano is not present. The thing is both are great players who dont like playing second fiddle and when forced to their performances and influence diminish but one has to when played in the same midfield and unfortunately for Veron, Keano doesnt play second fiddle to no one.

With Veron being 27 and Keano 32 then its obvious Veron has more lengthy service to give but Keano is such a great player you cant get rid of him. A very difficult situation for Sir Alex indeed.

Not really if u ask me - sell the old guy that has a big mouth and thinks he is better than he is and keep the magnificently talented Argentinian who is going to lead you to some kind of silverware this season.

Don't ask how I know this - its just a feeling I have because of how people slagged him off last season. I think he wants to prove something and it would not suprise me in the least if he scored a winning goal in a cup final or something this season.

its easier said than done selling Keane. He'd beat ya up if you tried. :D

Yeh your probably right :( I would tell someone else to tell him that he was being sold then. Then I would go into hiding for 6 months and communicate to my team during this period via satellite.

But honestly though, Man United would be better off without Keane now. They have shown in recent weeks that they are more than capable of winning and performing well without him. I have never been much of a Man United fan in recent years because of the arrogant nature of SOME of their supporters, but I have to admit........they are looking damn good at the moment. and if they keep playing like this then they will surely win a major trophy this season.

Beckham is a crossing machine. He can't beat people and he
ain't that fast. Perhaps like people have mentioned should
move into the middle, leaving Ole on the wing.

There'd be a hell of a fight in the middle for the two places,
between Keane, Veron, Scholes, Butt and Beckham.
