Olympic Athletics

The mens 1500m final yesterday was brutal. That Algerian was on FIRE! In the last lap, the winner had a 200m split of around 25s. To put it into context, the ladies tonight, will be running around the 22-23s mark. He could probably run 400m faster than any of the British 400m runners.

People are expecting big things from Alison Felix today. I am, too, though I do not expect a WR. I think Flo-Jo got that record and that will take some beating.

Sally Pearson was definitely in World Record form last night.
Its such a shame that it was raining and was cold.
On warm/humid/dry night, for sure, the World Record could've gone.

The good news for the 200m tonight, is that in London it is VERY hot.
I just went outside and I was sweating - so fast times are to be expected tonight.
If only the womens 100M hurdles were tonight....

Even better, im heading down that way so am going to try and see if me and the missus can get into the olympic park so we can take in the atmosphere. If not then ill have to put it on record on sky.

If you don't have a ticket for any event or a park ticket, you have ZERO chance of getting into the site.
