Olympic Boxing

Honestly thought Joshua had lost it, didn't rewatch but I thought the other guy definitely had it.

Ah well, if only Olympics had proper boxing

What I love about the Olympics is when these people come crawling out of the woodwork every 4 years to make some retarded comment about something they have no knowledge of.

Please tell us what 'proper' boxing is. I would love to have more insight from someone as knowledgeable about the sport as you.

Ogogo just beat the world number one...geezus thats twice in one day, first Gemma in judo and now Ogogo.

Christ, that was close for Ogogo. Three judges had them equal on points, they were equal on points after a count back and he won with a TV style popularity contest of 'press your button for the winner' from the 5 judges :D

BBCSport: Ukraine's appeal against the victory of
GB middleweight Anthony Ogogo over their number 1 seed Ievgen Khytrov is thrown out. #bbc2012

:)

And? Khan is an idiot. Godo luck to Ogogo though! :D

Well I am so sorry. I just assumed that a professional boxer would know a little bit about boxing.

Edit - By the way I was saying "Great news" for the appeal being rejected, not that Khan had said he was good.

gb vs italy was ruined by the ref's inability. Italian just held on and scored on the re-start..

I thought Josh Taylor was a bit unlucky there as while the Italian clearly won there was a lot of holding from him and I was a bit surprised to see that he won the final round by four clear points, I'd have had it much closer than that but a definite win for the Italian.
