Unless you're seriously going to try and claim brand new laptops from your insurance I SERIOUSLY think you should send this to some tv show, it really is hillarious! :p
 
Hmmm when I click on the first page of this thread, something (I don't even know what it is) tell's me there's a link to a website that spread malware. Sheepsomething,blueyonder.com.

Wow, old thread, but sorry I thought I had updated this :o

Yes they got caught the following week, a gang from Manchester apparently, I guess when the Manchester cops saw the pictures they recognised them.

Criminals annoy me, they could see the cameras all around the building but did nothing to hide their faces as they came in, it was such a sloppy job :(



The pics are only imageshack.us, not sure why that would trigger a problem?
 
I know it's an old thread, but damn, I wish all burglars were considerate enough to conduct their thefts whilst wearing a high visibility jacket. :D

Well yes, some of the cards in the two IBM minicomputers were worth a fortune, there was a couple of £K of hard drives and RAM/CPU, all on nice pull out racks. A bit more effort would net about £2K of Cisco switch/router kit. The servers themselves were a two man job to lift.

The laptops wouldn't have fetched more than £100 in a pub as a job lot.

You'd think there would be someone planning these things who would tell them what to look for :o
