Back when i still played I got so bored waiting for WotLK I rolled a gnome warlock on the Aszune server. 'Kin hilarious. Gnomes are so small and Warlocks can soulstone themselves, so when they die they can choose to resurrect on the spot. This offers unique PvP oppotunities as I'm sure you can appreciate. If I ever go back to WoW, it'll be as a gnome warlock.
Two things to consider: Alliance; lots of players that side, lots of money making opportunities on the AH, lots of noobs. Horde; far fewer players, less gold generally, mucher higher individual skill per player. Choose your side wisely.
