Passing thought before I go to bed, I hate Zip.

Nn

Ill quite happily trade the weather, You can have our crap hot stuff and ill take your awesome snow:D
BTW in this trade we get to keep the girls in bikinis and hot pants:p

No thanks mate! :D

One of our truck drivers had his air con brake last 40 degree heat wave we had, His Cab temp was 53 Degrees:eek:

He doesnt even go down the quarry pit either, hes just a road driver. So us int he Dump trucks have no Air con, Much bigger engines and The heat from the from the quarry pit itself (Normally 5-10 degrees hotter down there). So im guessing my truck would be at a higher temp then his =/
Im pretty much cooked and very very angry by the time i get out the truck on a day like that:p
My aircon is an ocky strap that holds the door wide open:p

I recall you describing your work previously Zip.

I tip my hat toward you sir, I've done tipper work in the past (hardly similar, I know) but do recall how hateful quarrys were on a hot summer day and that was with aircon!

Hopefully ill be out at the end of the month though:)

Bringing a thermometer to work tomorrow to seen what it actually gets too down in the hole.

It has just dropped below 0 again (didn't go above today :() and this morning the boiler broke and british gas aren't here to fix it until saturday.

Got a few very cold days coming

Apparently we got to -6 last night and just got to 0 at 16:00, guessing it's going dowwwwn again now though. My kind of winter, nice and cold, not the stupid chilly we normally get most of the winter!

Now it's frozen, all we need is for everything North of Watford to break off and float off somewhere into the middle of the Atlantic

GREAT SUCCESS

I hope you mean the Watford gap, otherwise i've suddenly been surplanted from the south to the north.;)

As long as every lead weight in the UK is generously donated to the mass south of watford as it floats in the opposite direct then i agree, great success :p

I know not everyone has been to Canada, but I don't tend to moan about these temperatures due to what I've experienced over there.

Last time I went we were at a zoo and it was was -20 with a wind chill of -30. Fun fun.

Oh and snow snowmobiling in that type of weather is harsh, the condensation leaks out the helmet vents and freezes pretty damned quick. So much fun though. :)
