English people suck at weather! We have pretty much the most unextreme weather in the world and panic arises from -10/-20 and some snow/ice. Let's have a BBC news special because we had 8" of snow and can't handle it!

-9 here so far and its not pleasant. Snow on the roads for the last two weeks is now pack ice. Ice and speed bumps is gradually ruining my car.

Same here... -10 to -11 during the night and 1C or so in the day so it can just thaw a little... the roads are extremely dicey...

just had to nip out and give a neighbour a hand to push their car passed mine on the backroad! he was literally 5-6" away from swiping my car where he got bogged down.

and yes its cold and icy out there already!

I don't think it is panic buying, just people getting an extra loaf or another 4 pint of milk to save going out again during the snow. Our Tesco has plenty of everything on the shelves.

Panic buying is when we had mile long queues for petrol, when it wasn't even going to run dry.
