one for the bikers

get a cagiva mito, 34bhp when de restricted but no copper will do you for it (12 bhp when restricted)

faster the the RS and will out handle many 600's on the twisties

it is max 33bhp yes, not on engize size. 2 stroke is loads better than 4 stroke, and easier to fix yourself with a little learning.
An RS or a Mito won't out perform a 600 in the twisties (assuming both are in good nick and riden by a matched rider).

The missus had an RS and yes it's a fast little bike and bags of fun but it's just not in the same league as the bigger bike when it comes to performance.

2 points, well 3 actually, of complete and utter rubbish.

No 125 2 stroke will get 34bhp, not without thousands of pounds spent on them, a de-restricted RS/Mito with race system and a few other gubbins will only develop about 29 at the wheel when under a test.

A copper WILL do you for riding a 125 de restricted on L's, they arent stupid, you can hear they arent restricted when they hit the powerband and they will just see the rate it accelerates and notice the L plates and know its illegal.

The RS is a great handling bike yes, but i dont think it would have a 600 on the bends, you cant put that down to the bike, its all down to the rider and the conditions.

Just my tuppence.

Luke the more you go on about bikes the worse it gets, a 125 racer will eat a 600 alive on any bend especially as a 2 stroke and due not just because of the weight but also the way the power on a 2 stroke comes in,

watch a GP race and have a real listen to how far the 125's and 250's back off on the throttle when going into a bend, they dont!

then compare the lap times and see that on average the low cc strokers are only about 6 seconds off the pace for the big boys, why? because they cant compete in a straight line but make time up in the corners ;)

Honestly this seems to be more down to willy waving than plain facts these days :D

Matched rider or not the low cc strokers have an advantage in the corners whether we like it or not, its called weight ;)

If you dont believe me then just watch the GP, its staring you in the face.
