I remember the thread and admiring your resolve to go anyway. Fantastic to hear things have panned out well and you're living the life you wanted, to not go would have left you always wondering "what if".

Glad it's working out, I'm a sucker for a happy ending :-)

I like success stories, congrats mate, I notice you live in Auckland, my uncle & family moved over there about 3 years ago to pursue a new life and they haven't looked back either and after visiting them recently I can definitely see why you wouldn't want to come back! :)
 
I remember the thread and I admire anyone that has the balls to up sticks and move to another country by themselves. Glad it worked out!

I am so happy for you! Good on you! The gamble paid off and life is going great for you! :) She must hate herself inside for letting something so good go away and in her current situation even more so.
