Looks great - good specs, seemingly decent camera (despite the housing on the back looking like its been stuck on with a prittstick), stock ish android and a fantastic price.
Want.

If it wasn't for my OPO having so many problems and the nightmare customer support I'd go for one.
And the dubious cpu

Still thinking a galaxy a5 instead

So no Quickcharge 2.0, and about a 3hrs charge time.

MKB says the phone gets hot but he noticed no performance loss. Batterylife is about 20% less than the OPO so far on early build SW.

just watched all the vids, think it looks promising. certainly looks nice, in a OPO with a slight makeover kinda way.

That's a fair chunk cheaper than I thought it would be, I was expecting the 64GB model to be closer to the £450 mark.

It sounds like an overall great phone but the lack of NFC seems... strange. Even the OPO had NFC. Although to be honest, thinking about it, I usually have NFC off as I never use it. Initially I used it to quickly share things between devices but Pushbullet replaced that and is far more easier to use. There were NFC stickers as well but Llama/Tasker kinda removes the need for that too. (EDIT: Seems they dropped it because of this exact reason: http://www.androidpolice.com/2015/0...2-because-oneplus-one-owners-werent-using-it/)

They're sticking to 1080p which I feel is a good choice, I honestly can not see a significant difference between 1080p and 1440p.

Camera seems to perform better than I expected, it's pretty good... considering the price of the phone :p.

But the lack of Quickcharge is a disapointment. It's not really a major issue for me but it's something that I felt would've made charging a large battery faster.

The sound profile switch actually seems clever, I admit the new sound profiles were not that well implemented in Lollipop, it feels too long winded changing between them.

Now to wait on performance reviews and see if they have tamed the SD810. If it does not throttle as much as the other SD810 phones, then I may be tempted to grab this phone... if I can get an invite.

So same phone with a not so good screen, and down clocked chipset, no NFC\sdcard.

Not worth the money in anyway shape or form.

I like the look of it, the thing that made me buy the oneplus one was high spec and low price, don't want to pay £400+ for a high spec phone, definitely for people who like to try different roms and tinker with it as doesn't invalidate the warranty. Hopefully if anything it will help bring down the cost of other phone brands.

Well, first impressions are I want one. My OPO has been faultless for the last year now. See if my run of luck can continue. :D

Now to try and actually get one!

If they ever send me a invite I will post it here. I won't be touching this phone.
