*** OnePlus 2 ***

Yeah. 3hrs for a full charge. That's sloooooow for me.

To be honest. Not interested. As I've said before I like my OPO but it's just too big. I'm not interested in another 5.5" device.

No NFC is certainly an odd choice, too.

They have a point about most people not using/wanting it though. But can it really add that much cost to the device? Especially with contactless payments gaining momentum.

That being said, it doesn't have enough to pull me away from my G4 which is competitively prices at at the moment.

But no one uses it cause there is no use, once Google deploys its wireless payment it will gain a lot of transition. Oh my Android can do Apple Pay too yay.

No NFC, No quickcharge, no wireless charging, no stereo speakers, lame Oxygen OS.... 2015 flagship. What were they thinking?

The phone looks nice and the price is nice, but Moto have them bent over in all honesty.

Sort of agree. Got a feeling the SD615 in the x-Play might be a bit limiting and the 5.7" x-style is too big. Would have been nice to see type-c usb too.

Don't care about wireless charging, NFC or stereo speakers though.

Aye we'll have to see, the water repelling coating is a bonus though, it's that stuff that was demoed some 2 years ago which looked very impressive.

One of the talking points of USB Type C on phones was that it would offer faster charging, since the +2 has no fast charge ability, I don't see why it has Type C in the first place. It's also not like it has an SD card slot for you to transfer large data to and from it over Type C either.

For me personally I just want a symmetrical connector so I can connect it in the dark:p

Faster data transfer and faster charging would be nice as well I guess.

See charging in the dark is what magnetic charging connections are made for! I will never understand why Sony dropped them in the new Z3 version. Not that it matters for me and many others on the original model of course.

Personally, I found it hit and miss. Qi is mostly better in my view and I'd like to see all phones move towards it - iPhones included.

This is what's tempting me to the OP2 more than the XP, the 615 doesn't seem much of an upgrade from the 600 in my M7. Plus honestly I prefer the look of this phone over Motorola's designs :p.

Yeah not a fan of Moto's curved backs and the look of the front facing stereo speakers.
I definitely prefer the OP2 over Moto's offerings. X-Style is too big and X-Play is crippled with the SD615.

If you want a nice crisp screen and are ok with the SD615, look at the Vodafone Smart ultra 6 for £125 on PAYG.

One plus 2 has the hardware for quickcharge, so it could still be flicked on like on the G4 with a SW update..

We can only gauge that possibility by looking at how OnePlus have supported its users of the first handset though, has that been good?

Let's be honest, if it's capable, but not enabled, then you have to ask why this is the case. Going by the practices of OnePlus over the tech articles the past year or so, I don't have too much faith in them.

Give them some credit, it was their first phone and they have done more good than bad. Plenty of happy customers.

I don't even see QC as an essential, I never use it myself due to the heat it exposes to a sealed battery. Rather charge slowly over night.

The phone is **** hot for the price, It can't really be denied.

I’m going to forever remain sceptical. Already been burned a few times by Samsung’s ways and it took a big step to get onboard with Sony (with pleasant surprise thankfully). I just don’t trust most OEMs whereby it turned out that the users and XDA community end up fixing most of the software driven flaws in the hardware.
