Once you get use to applying the right pressure there's no issue with the home button. Mine has been completely fine.
 
Well mine finally shipped on the 12th, (ordered the 3rd) been with DHL in China ever since. Or maybe not acording to a guy on the OPO Forums, he's been in contact iwth DHL and its more likely its in East Midlands with everyone elses who ordered on or around that date. My last update is as he says below, 13.15 on the 13th. So maybe I'll get it tomorrow.....


Just got off the phone to my DHL accounts manger and they have confirmed that the phones was bulked shipped and are currently in East midlands awaiting to be broken down in to the individual consignments, and we should have the phones by tomorrow (17/09).
They also mentioned there is about 40 other complaints of the same nature that they are aware of and that most of them phones are also in East midlands, so if you have a Clearance time of 13:15 in China at stage 5/6 on the 13th there is hope for you.

All that being said, I'm almost certainly sending it back, I might even refuse delivery as that will be the quickest way to return it and refund. Moto X Style or Sony Z5 for me I think...
 
Had mine a few days, not had any of the problems people seem to have.
Nice phone for the money, will have to see what the dev community brings before deciding to keep it or not, I think a lot could be improved with a decent ROM and kernelkernel.
The styleswap covers are incredibly **** though.
 
Can someone explain to me how the One Plus invite system works? I've never really paid attention but the rumoured specs on the One Plus Two Mini seen to tick all the boxes for me and so I'd like to know the best way of getting hold of one if and when it's released!

I assume it's not as straightforward as simply buying it from a website?

The way I understand how it's worked... is last year with their 1st release of the OPO, I think the primary order they followed was the forum user registration date or ID. Basically the earlier you joined their forum, the earlier you got an invite. Now the invites were tied to your email/forum accounts so couldn't be shared.

They'd release an invite to go with a physical phone they had available. But after some time the people who purchased a phone were given shareable invites to hand out to anyone. Took them until early this year to remove the invite to purchase their 1st phone.

This year around I believe they have basically followed the same process but focused on users who have both registered early and purchased at least 1 OPO last year. Once they went round those, they went round the early "supporters" who didn't purchase one (I think I fell under this stage).

But really, i've seen on their forums there are users who purchased the 1st phone early and still not had an invite, compared to others who haven't and got an invite early.

They've an explanation of "tiers" for invites, but even that doesn't seem to explain it.

Edit: You can simply purchase from website, but it'll be the Chinese model which has very limited supported LTE bands for UK or europe. They have 3 models of the phone I believe, a China / Global (the one you want if in UK) and North America model.
