I'm struggling to understand why they do this invite thing. On their website there is just loads of people begging in the forum for invites. And on eBay there are people capitalising (ableit only a few quid) on selling their invites.

To me it makes the company look 'dirty' simply because of how the community around the phone are a bunch of desperate beggers, and that's all there is.

Once you have the phone, there isn't much to talk about other than the OS differences to stock android.

Yup. I went to the site at 10:55 and it said open in 5mins.

Placed my order there and then...seems to be locked down again now.

I paid expiated delivery, on the hope that they have stock within the UK and so I can get it for the weekend.

I paid for expedited shipping, Paypal lost several thousand payments and OP had no idea what was going on. Couldn't even mail us to let us know.

Got lucky by pinging one of the admins, who massaged the order system to release my and a couple of other's orders. 5 days from start to finish IIRC.

Eek. Well I have both and email from OPO and Paypal and my status is 'pending shipment'

no idea if there were other states before then though.

A quick google looks to suggest it could stay in pending shipment for days..weeks..so maybe the following weekend I'll get it!

Hopefully they have stock, and as I must be one of the first to order since I noticed it was available at 11am this monring all will be good...

I was just showing my team mate what I was buying and said I had wait til 9pm this evening...the count down said 5min...hung around and then ordered.

Think it stayed open for about 2 hours.

The site was already struggling..hope its better at 7pm.

Have a look on the forum and there is a thread about delivery... Supposedly the express delivery isn't necessarily faster than the standard delivery in the UK...

yeah i read that after too. although only £3 more...maybe they'll have fixed that issue by now.

just tried the site...a busy page is shown...

glad I got in early...

they have some loading system...as it gave me a game to play, then prompted me that I could go and order...
