OnePlus One.

Ordered on the 26th late in the evening and arrived today with the express delivery. It's actually going to my dad to replace his cheap Samsung.
The back of the phone is an interesting material that is for sure. I'll be doing the setup for him so will see how I get on :)

Crazy that it was produced on the 16th August :O

Also ordered mine on the 26th and no sign of it yet. Hopefully today.

My order status is still at processing though, did you get any kind of dispatch notification?

Sorry, I've not read the whole thread, but I've see these selling on eBay for £270 for 64gb from China. Has anyone bought one this way? Is there a down side to this over getting an invite and buying direct?

Also, how much are they with an invite?

A friend recently ordered one from there, it came with CyanogenMod pre-installed and no issues. They even gave her a little gift pack of screen protector, and case.

It cost her £10 more than it would have with an invite. She's happy anyway.

Thanks. So for an invite they are under £300? I see people referring to a list of people wanting invites, I looked at the first page, no list though? Is it a long list?

Just for reference my OPO over night would have 64% of the time without signal, my S5 has 0% with no signal. So the OPO antenna is clearly pretty poor. Both on Three UK

I've been trying to work out that myself. I changed to three on Thursday and the signal is constantly bad at home. Where as giffgaff was pretty good.
Are you operating with your LTE turned on or off?

OPO looking to ditch the invite system in October.

Too little too late as most companies will be releasing newer phones during that period. Although the OPO still might be strong in terms of the price/spec ratio the availability of the OPO will ultimately hurt it.

Generic response to my Rma request

I'm torn
It's really a question of - do I trust this company to honour the warranty beyond my PayPal protection?

I like the phone itself. But the problems

How's your RMA?
I've just had a email(took weeks) saying that the multi touch problem was fix in the last update. But I can have a refund.

So I sent 1+ tech a link to where 1+ says it isn't fixed but they know about it.

Three don't use any frequency for 2G ;)

They are also going to roll out 800Mhz LTE so will be on par. Dunno when, though.

Early next year. Very late this year is a possibility but more likely next year.

And no it won't be necessarily. Until the output power on LTE is at the same level as currently on 3G, the coverage won't be as good as it can be.

Anyone else on three uk ? Getting pretty poor 3g. Noticed if you tap the back cover where the sim slot is it rattles? Does anyone else's?

Yeah I'm on three. My HTC One X is pretty poor and thought the 1+1 would be an improvement (Motorola G has a decent signal with 3) but it is barely better. With such a big body, I expected better signal strength.

Seems to be too many issues with this, can you scrub my name from the list.

I'd rather stick £300 towards a phone that will actually work most of the time.
