should have bagged a 1070!
Gibbo! auction just ended and it sold for £390 posted in the end!!! Buyer paid immediately too!
I was debating on getting a 1070 but the price of the 1060 with the games was a steal!
I recently purchased a 1080Ti for my new Ryzen 1700 machine, the 1060 I received from you today will be going in my old i7 4790k machine that I have given to the missus so she can play GTA 5 with me haha

Ryzen 1700 clocked at 1800X would be my CPU of choice at the moment too with some 8 Pack 3200MHz RAM with tight tight timings along with a Strix 1080Tior HOF 1080Ti.

Yup got my 1700 clocked at 3.8ghz at a safe and stable 1.35v (still slowly working my way downwards on the voltage so not final yet) but seem to have hit a bit of a wall as very unstable when attempting anything higher even with extra voltage, not sure if its the Asus Prime B350-Plus limiting me but gonna have a play around this evening as I havent really put a lot of time into it yet.
I got 16GB (2x8) Corsair Vengeance LPX 2666, wish I had gone for 3200 now though after seeing how Ryzen likes high speed memory
Any idea how well the LPX 2666 memory OCs above its standard speed? Im no expert on memory overclocking as only ever attempted it a couple of times, managed to get my previous DDR3 1600 to 2000 with some adjustment of timings and voltage, guess its the same trial and error situation? Would like to get an idea on the average OC of this memory before I get the wallet out again (its been out a lot recently
lol), might just have to start a thread!

Good on all the folks who have sold theres on ebay. I did the same and got a 1060 and pocketed the change.
Just hope that the bubble dosent burts a few months down the line resulting in loads of cards being returned for full refund using ebay/paypals 'free' 6 month guantee.

I was thinking of selling my RX470 and didn't realise that it had gone up from 45 days to 180 days!! Thats put me right off TBH,as these cards will be hammered 24/7 too.
Yep, I take photos and keep receipts to be safe. I had a buyer trying to do me over on a £15 sale last week. Thanks to the photos I provided eBay sided with me

When deals like this are on do you post links in other relevant subforums like pc games? I missed this one...only really 2 days window to grab it. hrmm oh well nevermind. I wouldnt mind as well if deals like this were in a different colour on the forum so i would see it.
