Hey guys, my friend had an accident with my steelseries merc stealth that involved an entire pint of strongbow drowning it. I instantly unplugged it and turned it upside down but I believe the damage had already been done. I let it dry out for a few hours, upside down over a low heat source. I plugged it in and it was dead, no lights, no recognition on pc, nothing.
I left it for a few days as I have been away on business and plugged it in an hour ago, it responds, lights come on, all seems to work except one problem.
The S+X and V+G keys seem to be paired. so when you press either, both characters are inputted. I've disassembled it, gave the plastic fascia a shower and am left with the rest, (pics uploaded). It's down to the bare minimum but the keys still seem to be bonded and input both characters, does anyone know a way to fix this? My mate has offered to buy a new keyboard but obviously I'd rather not have him have to pay for a new one if this is fixable. Pics below.
Thanks, Jamie <3
