Has firefox got and extension to allow you to do this??

It is Firefox mate :)

Ohhhh snaaaaaaaap! *hears people go back to Firefox*

lol ;)

Dont the FF and IE options mention just show you the OPEN tabs? This is different to the Opera Speed dial...

What's different :) the only difference I see is 9 speed dials compared to the menu system you can just click on the top toolbar to quickload any site with a single click (see screenshot)

I'm using the latest opera too btw and don't find it any better at all!

Loving speed dial. I was getting bored with Firefox again, even with Foxpose.

once the page is loaded it will start to "pad out" unendingly. Something to do with how a sigle line space is coded i think. Doesn't effect other browsers. Thinks it's js based, some are fine, some are broken.

Renders ok here too?

The only thing Opera is really missing atm is proper advert blocker with proper flash blocker like in Firefox. Atm I browse spammy and news sites with Firefox and use Opera for everything else...

Thats the clincher for me atm. Once Opera can sort this out either natively or with some kind of add-on I have virtually no reason to stay with Firefox.

Can't we have a thread about Opera without FF users having the need to enlighten us as to how 'great' it is? :)

Similarly, Opera users are keen to post "USE OPERA!!!!1111" whenever anyone posts about FF (especially if they're having a problem).

Speed Dial's nice, but I'd rather it would (at least have an option to) automatically pick out the top 10 most visited (unless I'm missing something, of course). Early days though, I guess.
Shouldn't be too hard to replicate (at least as an extension) in FF, especially in FF3 with access to SQLite through Places.

Beyond that, for me it's six and half a dozen between Opera 9.2 and Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a4pre) Gecko/20070416 Minefield/3.0a4pre ID:2007041604 [cairo], Cycle Collector performance issues in the latter aside.
The bfcache (FF term, being able to jump back and forward in the history of a tab without reloading it per se) is smoother in Opera (and I guess doesn't have the RAM overhead), but I miss some of my FF extensions.

Opera query time: does Opera have anything like this?

Well this one seems to have fixed my erlier problems, I would use this If I could find a decent GMAIL app thats intrigated into the browser, not a widget(One like Gmail Manager in firefox). Is there any out there?

Fantastic, I've allways been a fan of Opera, the speed dial feature is just pure genious, I have it set to start with the speed dial feature as my welcoming screen.

How do you do that? Sounds like a plan ;)

Also, has anyone else got there googlemail accounts working on there opera mail system thing?
I can get my gmail account working, just not my googlemail accounts ):
