Operating Temperatures of AMD X2's

What's the maximum operating temperature of these processors. I have an AMD 939 4400+ and it's peaking at about 62-64C (According to Everest) and I'm just surfing. Are they OK? Air cooled with a Thermaltake Big Typhoon.

I'm actually seeking to migrate to Intel Core2.

Same chip here, Toledo, 32-35 idle, 50 load 100% x 2, overclocked to 2.65. Scythe Ninja.

Yours is way too hot.

Ditto too hot. I had my 3Ghz 4200+ x2 running at 50C under water. Suprised yours is even stable at that temp?

Hmm... the typhoon is only running at 800RPM... must be a setting in the BIOS. Haven't checked in a long while. It's about 28C in my room.

Using 4400x2 now, stock CPU speeds. 24 room temp, 30-34 idling Windows Vista 64. Ninja fan @ 1100rpm

I have a 110w Opteron 939 chip that puts out loads of heat and it's only going to 57 here with a cheapo AC Freezer 64, something is wrong with the OP's system.

Of course there is, 30 hotter than normal. On idle, shouldn't be over 40 unless in a cramped poorly ventilated case.
