Opinions on my Site plz :)

An honest question - why do you have your browser maximised if your resolution is over 1024*768? Seems like a waste of screen to me

Because some websites work perfectly well maximised, and I guess it's simpler to just open a browser and leave it maximised.

because i can see more in one look, no need to scoll down the page as it get put across the page.

esp in forums like this.

looks dodgy, but not as funny as the hosting site linked from it which appears to be made with one of those templates that seem to be overly used on the internet lol

Surely any respectable hosting company would pay someone to design a site or design a better one themselves
I certainly wouldn't trust them to host anything.

I'm sorry.

A huge step backwards :(

The web page now looks like a random screen grab.

Do you need all the scores/ fps on the home page ?

And the background is just sky ?

Just my honest opinion.

Keep going. :)

imo thats page would be 1000 times more useable and better looking if you got rid of the crap background. It makes the page look so "geocities", imo of course.

It looks very bad at a rez of 1900X1200. You can keep any theme by making an awesome banner and make it tidy etc.

What do you use the edges of the screen for, and in what way is voluntarily shrinking your window not wasting screen real estate? :/

I never got the whole not maximising windows thing, but I do use two monitors so if I want to see two things at once I put one on each monitor. That might be it.

So you can see applications that are running underneath and switch between them quickly or so you can see part of your desktop which is always handy. Use the full vertical resolution by all means but once your browser windows is wider than 1024px then there's no point, all it does it make some paragraphs too wide to comfortably read.

Each to their own, I guess. I don't find that there's enough space to the sides to see anything useful, and it's nice not having to scroll for large images posted in forum threads.
